A319 Volotea

Volotea are a usual sight at Madeira since 2014, when the company started flying here with a 717 (click here). In 2015 we used to have 3 Boeing 717 from Volotea on Thursdays. Today, for the first time, Volotea brought the A319. It will operate regurarly on Monday and Thursday. The 717 will continue flying to Madeira on Thursday.

EasyJet - 20 Years

Today, for the first time at Madeira, we got G-EZOX, wearing the livery ''20 Years'', from easyJet.

Dash 8-Q400 are a common sight around Madeira, since most days we have one, twice, from SATA, operating from and to Ponta Delgada and Las Palmas. Today we got a different one, a French Q400

Spotting from the Control Tower

Some months ago I was invited to visit the control tower at Madeira Airport. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to photograph the interior of the tower, but some photos to the aircrafts were possible.

TUI Blue

For the second time at Madeira, the new livery from TUI, ''TUI Blue''. First time it came here nobody knew that it had this livery. This one was the previous Gold Haribo (see here)
