Afriqiyah Airlines Hybrid

Small Planet Airlines is one thing that we don't have at Madeira this year, so I went to Porto Santo Airport to catch one, a bit diferent. This one, although wearing an hybrid livery from Afriqiyah Airlines and beeing operated by Small Planet, is flying for Privilege Style and comes to Porto Santo from and to Lisbon and Oporto.

20 years of Air Nostrum

Today's Air Nostrum, a little bit different than the normal thing. Besides the new livery, it has also stickers celebrating the 20th anniversary of the company.

Lockheed P-3C Orion

Quite a nice surprise today! I was with a friend at the café for a pause during spotting, on which there were no airplanes, and I had just talked about a low pass performed by a P-3C about two months ago, that I had lost, when about two to three minutes later we saw this bird on the orizon! We just ran for the nearest spot, to photograph a single touch-and-go, and then it went off to the Azores.

Aerovip: New vs Old

Aerovip will replace the actual Dornier 228 for a Jetstream32 on the line Porto Santo-Madeira. Yesterday they were both here, the Dornier making the schedued flight and the Jetstream was training. These were the possible photos...

Welcome Iberia

Another debut at Madeira, and probably it's the last one untill the end of the year (depends if the cargo plane is finally comming or not...). This time, it's another spanish airline, Iberia, connecting Madeira to Madrid.
