Boeing 727-100

Last week Oporto and Madeira got the visit of Mr Gordon Getty, descendant of Jean Paul Getty, who was the richest man of his time, worldwide famous for his empire in petrol, and most recently because of the movie All the Money in the World, about the kidnaping of his grandson John Paul Getty III, which he refused to pay the ransom.

Mr Getty flies on this 48 year old Boeing 727-100, that delights the aviation enthusiasts wherever he goes. With only 4 of these birds flying worldwide, it has to be one of my best catchesever, and the best movement in years to come to Madeira.

Despite not enjoying backlit photos, I wanted to catch this perspective of the B721 departing Madeira. In the end, even with the backlit, it's my favorite shot of this aircraft

Lufthansa 747-400

Due to hurricane Leslie, back on the 13th of October 2018, Lufthansa cancelled some flights. So, on the following day, Lisbon got a 747 as a gift.

Early Sunrays for Boeing 767.

Boeing767s are not so common these days around Madeira as they used to be, so, it's always nice to see one around here. This one was expected to land around 5PM the previous day, but, for unknown reasons, it was delayed over 12 hours, landing at 8:10AM, just after the sunrise.

Boeing 787 Go-Around

Go arounds are always good things to witness, specially when it's an aircraft so quiet as the Boeing 787. These photos were taken on the 1st of August 2017, at London Heathrow Airport. The reason for the go around is unknown for me.
